ILLUMA Candles LLC began with a simple belief: light can transform a space, create comfort, and help make everyday moments feel meaningful.
As a small, Latina-owned candle business based in the Bronx, every candle is thoughtfully hand-poured using a coconut and soy wax blend. We are raising funds to help ILLUMA Candles grow, restock essential materials, remain online, reach more customers, and work toward securing a physical studio and retail location.
Your support will help fund:
• Wax, fragrance oils, jars, wicks and candle-making supplies• Labels, packaging and shipping materials• Candle-making equipment, storage and safety supplies• Website, domain and e-commerce expenses• Product testing, insurance, permits and business fees• Photography, advertising and marketing• Vendor fees for markets, pop-ups and community events• Inventory development and seasonal collections• Working capital for daily business expenses• A future studio or storefront, including the deposit, rent, utilities, fixtures, signage and necessary improvements
